Last updated: October 2026 B2B Delivery Policy

Global Food and Spices supplies spices and agricultural commodities to importers, wholesalers, distributors, food processors and international buyers. This policy explains how orders are processed, dispatched and delivered.

01 Order Processing

  • Every order starts with an enquiry and a written quotation. We dispatch only against a confirmed purchase order or accepted quotation.
  • Lead time depends on the product, quantity and any advance payment terms, and is stated in the quotation.
  • Peak season, public holidays and monsoon conditions can add to lead time.

02 Delivery Modes

Depending on the product, quantity and destination we dispatch by:

  • Road transport to warehouses and delivery addresses across India.
  • Rail or multimodal freight for larger consignments and longer distances.
  • Sea or air freight for export and import shipments.
  • Courier for samples and small parcels.

03 Delivery Terms and Pricing

The delivery basis is stated in each quotation, for example ex-works, delivered to site, or an international Incoterm such as FOB or CIF for export orders. Loading, unloading, transport, taxes and insurance are handled as per the agreed basis.

04 Delivery to Your Location

  • Please share the full delivery address, site contact person and any access or time restrictions when placing the order.
  • The buyer arranges safe access, unloading space and labour at the delivery point unless the quotation says otherwise.
  • Delivery schedules are planned with you in advance so that materials arrive when you need them.

05 Documentation

Each shipment is accompanied by the documents required for the transaction, such as the tax invoice, packing list, e-way bill, quality or test certificate where applicable, and transport receipt. Export shipments additionally carry the shipping and customs documents required by the destination country.

06 Packaging and Handling

  • Materials are packed or loaded in a way suitable for the product and the transport mode.
  • Please inspect the consignment on arrival and note any visible damage on the delivery receipt.

07 Customs and Import Duties

For export orders, import duties, taxes and clearance in the destination country are the buyer's responsibility unless the agreed delivery basis says otherwise. We recommend confirming applicable HS codes and import rules with your local authority before ordering.

08 Damage, Shortage and Loss

  • Report any damage, shortage or loss in writing with photographs as soon as possible, within the period stated in your contract or quotation.
  • Insurance responsibility follows the agreed delivery basis.
  • We are not liable for damage caused by improper handling after delivery, force majeure or acts of the carrier beyond our control.

09 Tracking and Updates

After dispatch we share the vehicle, lorry receipt, bill of lading or courier details by email or WhatsApp so that you can follow the consignment.
